   We are proud to announce that our Quality Manager, Chloe, and Administrator, Rebecca, participated in the Streetlife Big Sleep Out on 22nd March 2024. This event aimed to raise awareness about youth homelessness while providing vital support to those in need.

Through their efforts, Training Works raised £500 in March 2024 for Street Life! Chloe and Rebecca spent the night on the cobbles of St Johns Square with their sleeping bags, creating visibility for this important issue and garnering sponsorship to help sustain essential services for young people experiencing homelessness.

   We are thrilled to celebrate one of our talented apprentices, Shannon, who recently completed the Chorley 10k! As a devoted supporter of Chorley FC, Shannon had the incredible backing of the team during her run, which made her achievement even more special.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Shannon on this fantastic accomplishment and commend her for the progress she is making with her apprenticeship.

Well done, Shannon! Keep up the great work both in your training and on the course! We can’t wait to see what you achieve next!

    On 13th May, Training Works proudly supported our apprentices, Stacy and Jared, in their efforts to raise funds through a bake sale for MIND Lancashire. We are delighted to announce that the bake sale raised an impressive £100!

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed by baking, purchasing, and supporting this fantastic initiative. Your efforts help raise awareness and provide vital support for mental health services in our community.

    On 8th June, some members of the Training Works team proudly joined the vibrant celebrations at the Blackpool Pride Festival! It was an incredible experience filled with joy, unity, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

The festival brought together people from all walks of life, and our team had a fantastic time participating in the festivities, celebrating diversity, and promoting inclusivity.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support this wonderful event! We look forward to joining in again next year! 

   We are thrilled to share that our Administration Manager, Chloe, successfully participated in the Race for Life event held at Aintree on Sunday, 16th June. Her dedication and hard work helped Training Works raise an impressive £1,810, along with an additional £323.75 in gift aid!

Chloe completed the 5K race in a remarkable time of 45 minutes. This achievement not only highlights her commitment to fitness but also her support for a fantastic cause.

 Our directors, Sharon and Phil, recently treated the TWNW team to a delightful evening filled with meal, drinks, and a show to express their appreciation for our hard work and to celebrate our achievements over the past year.

  We are thrilled to announce a MASSIVE congratulations to our incredible Compliance Officer, Stacy, on successfully passing her Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship! Stacy not only completed her coursework but also excelled in her End Point Assessment, achieving TWO DISTINCTIONS!

   On 18th September, Training Works hosted a delightful Coffee Morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. We are thrilled to share that we raised an impressive £145 for this incredible cause!

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and enjoyed some delicious treats while supporting such an important charity. Your generosity and support make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.

We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future!

    Congratulations to our Amazing Trainer Claire Miller. 

Claire has recently completed her Assessors Qualification after joining us as a Trainee Trainer. She is now a qualified Trainer. 

Here is what Claire has to say about joining us as a Trainee to now being a fully qualified Trainer. 

"I started as an Adult Care Trainee Trainer with Training works nine months ago. Coming from a care background, and completely new to assessing, the support I’ve received has been incredible. I have now completed my assessors qualification and am currently working towards my teaching qualification. Training works value each and every member of the team and provide immense opportunities for staff to progress. Thank you Training works for investing in me!"
